Expandify’s solicitor: direct-payment demand and termination warning
Website summary of incoming correspondence. Original retained privately. The positions described are disputed and are not findings. This correspondence records a termination threat, not an issued termination notice. The send-history screenshot does not establish receipt.
Expandify’s solicitor required the full instalment to be paid directly to the company before delivery and rejected the suggestion that Expandify could not complete the agreement.
Citing a Xero send-history screenshot, the email said the invoice had been sent on 30 August, payment was due on 7 September and the remedy period ended on 15 September.
It set a final payment deadline of 3 pm on 18 September and threatened termination if payment was not received. It also stated a preference to complete the work before the end of the year.
