Expandify’s solicitor: contract position, delay explanation and proposed timetable
Source date: 4 Sept 2026 · Incoming correspondence summary

Summary from the incoming 4 September email stating Expandify’s contract position, delay explanation and conditional timetable.
These were disputed positions, conditional delivery proposals and estimated installation and completion dates. Kay’s solicitor disputed the contract characterisation and delay explanation. The email says the replacement contract was sent in January; the reviewed replacement-contract documents are dated April. That discrepancy remains attributed to the sender.

Website summary of incoming correspondence. Original retained privately. The positions described are disputed and are not findings. The email dated the replacement contract to January; the reviewed replacement-contract documents are dated April.
Expandify’s solicitor maintained that the signed agreement covered supply and delivery of goods rather than a building contract, and said a separate building contract remained unsigned.
The email accepted 7 September as the payment date but requested cleared funds by 4 September to support possible delivery on 8 September. It attributed delays to batch scheduling, factory shutdowns, packing and shipping disruption.
Kay was placed third in the installation sequence, with installation estimated around 26 October and completion around 30 November. The proposed dates were subject to payment, weather and third-party availability.
