One sold her the home and has received her money. The other was sent in to finish it, told her the first could not cover its port costs, and left.
Expandify
Sold the $224,003 package. Has received $142,433 from Kay. Appointed the contractor who told her it could not cover its port costs. Asked for evidence it could pay its debts; its solicitor’s 16 September reply supplied no financial records demonstrating solvency. Kay offered the next $67,200.91 into Expandify’s own solicitor’s trust account; no agreement was reached. Expandify terminated on 13 October and says it will resell the home and deduct claimed costs before any refund. Kay’s solicitor disputes its right to terminate.
